Not in the house!!!

I am convinced that the ideal home for a family with young children would have the following things:

• a spring loaded floor in one room and padded walls in same
• soundproofed nursery so a baby could sleep through rambunctious older siblings
• video surveillance cameras for the portions the kids occupy with handheld monitors for Mommy & Daddy - and a two-way speaker to let the kids know you saw what they did and enforce the appropriate time-out (all while accomplishing necessary tasks)
• a fridge with a lock on the door
• a slightly sloped dining room floor with a center drain - and an extra long hose attachment for the kitchen sink

Of course, if Skippy could talk, he'd probably suggest that the house have extra large window sills for lazy, sun-loving kitties - positioned just out of reach of grabby little hands.
