A Fine Whine

We had a big outing today; loaded up the Sienna and set out for parts west of here...

Our first stop was the Childress Vineyards (as in Richard Childress, the racecar driver and yes they did have bottles of wine with NASCAR stuff on them).

Of course, we bought a bottle of wine - and a baby t-shirt (see picture - click on it if you can't read it - it's funny).



The vineyard was very classy. The grounds were beautiful and so was the gift shop. We maintained a STRICT handholding policy at this place because wine bottles and little kids are a dangerous combo; esp. since Matthew was wanting to get his hands on the stroller in the worst way and he likes to push it without paying enough attention to where he's going with it. NOT GOOD. Not good at all...he needs Wide Open Spaces...room to make a big mistake (quoting the Dixie Chicks here).

After leaving this location, we headed to....
