Baby Jail - Now with Remote Control!

We have had enough of the old plastic pressure gate and the annoying climb over it, not to mention Jamie trying to crash it all the time.

This is our cool new gate - all metal with manual and remote control. (It's still a pressure mount so someday we might actually be able to have our regular doorway back!) Jamie and Matthew can work it, but Benjamin cannot. The door swings both ways and latches securely. Best of all, we got this joker really cheap through a deal on Amazon.

Now if only I can keep Matthew and Jamie from abusing their newfound gate-opening powers, it will be good. They just wanted to come and go all evening. Even Benjamin seems to like it. I think it gives him a better view than the old gate. Of course this is all just one more reminder that our living room is essentially a large playpen with a TV, computers, and seating. If Skippy could talk, he'd say this all works just fine for him.
