Star of stage, screen, and kindergarten

There he is - Matthew - one of the three Billy Goats Gruff in his kindergarten play. Matthew actually made his debut reading the part of the narrator for The Three Little Pigs a few weeks ago. However, the role of Billy Goat Gruff was his first acting role. The critically acclaimed performance earned the class ice cream from the principal.

Chris took pictures for us since I couldn't get away from my own classroom to enjoy this auspicious occasion. We are so proud of how much Matthew has learned and matured this year. This child is reading, writing, and doing his 'rithmetic with enthusiasm and skill. Well, the writing...not so much skill yet, but we are working on that.

If Skippy could talk, he'd say "Way to go, Matthew!"
