Matthew Shover, future J.R.Ingram student
No more 30 minute ride each way! He's going to Ingram Elementary - with Daddy who will be the newest highly qualified, fully elementary certified, fourth grade teacher on the faculty. He can even ride with Mommy if he wants since he can always just make the short walk between West Lee and Ingram. We didn't tell him until it was a certainty that this change was going to happen, but we were afraid he'd be upset about not going back to Highland. Nope. No problems - after all, it's likely that he will have his Sunday School teacher, whom he adores, for first grade and he will also likely know some kids from church and preschool that go there.
Skippy, of course, is so excited about this that he celebrated by napping on the couch all day...wait a minute...he does that every day. Still, if Skippy could talk, he'd say this was a good thing.
