Something Fishy

We decided a trip to the NC Aquarium at Pine Knolls Shores was in order since we could go for free on our zoo membership. We combined it with an evening at Atlantic Beach/Ft. Macon State Park.

Here are the top ten observations about our trip:

1. According to Benjamin, "Sand is slippery."

2. Jamie will talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

3. Gracie does much better on the "baby leash" than any of her brothers did.

4. Matthew has gotten much more confidence around the water.

5. Gracie will head toward the waves like a magnet pulls to metal.

6. Nursing on the beach is tricky, but can be accomplished without flashing the world.

7. Gracie had more sand on her than even Jamie did (and he had a lot!).

8. The restaurant selection along Salter Path left a lot to be desired.

9. Jamie does not fall asleep in the car.

10. Gracie likes to clap along with selections from country music as well as some rock and roll. She seemed to particularly enjoy Nickelback's "Rockstar."
