Diving in to Summer

Teacher workdays ended on Friday and VBS and swim lessons began on Monday! It's been a very busy way to start summer vacation.

This year's VBS theme is "Power Lab" and the kids are enjoying themselves. Chris and I are both volunteering.

We have all of the kids in swim lessons - Gracie is in IPAP with me, Benjamin is in level one, and the big boys are in level two. They are having a great time. Jamie and Gracie are definitely my water rats, though.

In between VBS and swim lessons, we took Matthew and Jamie out for lunch and bowling to celebrate their excellent end of year report cards. They had a good time even though some of the bowling looked more like shot

put. Chris and I both bowled decent games, getting several strikes apiece.
