Birthday Boy!

Look who turned one year old on Saturday! It's our little April Fool's Baby, Benjamin! He had his one year check-up yesterday and he is doing very well. He's a tiny guy; only 18lbs, 9oz and 29 inches long.

We think he's going to start walking on his own very soon. He looks like he is thinking about it. He'll hold onto the coffee table and look very seriously at something a few steps away, but he hasn't worked up the nerve to take the steps yet.

Benjamin has a favorite word: cat. He says it everytime he sees Skippy (or Molly) and he tries to pet them. They are not as enthusiastic about his "lovies" as they are about attention from more mature members of the household. If Skippy could talk, he'd probably call Ben-Ben "slappy."
