Easter Dress preview

I just finished it! The fabric is from Elegant Stitches in Cary. The pattern is by McCall's. The details are by Mommy.

The pattern called for a layer of netting in addition to all the skirt you see here. I'm glad I skipped it. It's very fluffy without it, don't you think? I also added in all of the piping detail on the sleeves, collar, back opening, and waist (lavendar), plus a tuck with lemon yellow and another with pale green around the hem. I did buttons instead of a zipper because I think that looks nicer.

Gracie seemed to like her dress once I tried it on her. She spent time playing with the fun, girly skirt.
